The first Scorpion-class battleship was launched only a couple of years ago, and those that have been built are considered to be prototypes. Little is known of its capabilities, but what has been garnered suggests that the Scorpion is crammed to the brink with sophisticated hi-tech equipment that few can match. SHIP BONUSES

Summary
The scorpion is the only EWAR battleship in Eve (excluding the T2 Widow and pirate faction ships). It gets a bonus to jammer strength and a large bonus to range. The scorpion has 8 mid slots and 4 low slots, but because the mids are largely taken up by jammers it is usually armor tanked with its 4 lows, and as a result it has a comparatively weak tank for a battleship. Due to its unrivalled ECM abilities and its comparatively weak tank for its size it is almost always targeted first in any fleet engagement.

- This fit is proposed for fleets in E-UNI. It is expected that the capsuleer will have a diverse set of spare ECM jammers in their cargo hold; if targets are identified before engagement, it is encouraged for the FC to allow their ECM EWAR ships to dock up and refit their ships for the best setup for that engagement, if possible.
- Pilots that find themselves capping out more often than they'd like in prolonged engagements may wish to replace one of the cruise launchers with a heavy nos.

- This fit is meant to stay at as much range as possible which means up to 150km optimal and targeting range up to 180km
- This does not field much tank, if anything lands on you or shoots you, get out!
- The Auto Targeting System is not meant to be activated but provides the ability to lock up to 10 targets
- Smartbombs and Neuts help with clearing tackle that lands on you (NEVER use smartbombs in empire space unless you know exactly what you are doing or you might get CONCORDed or killed by players)
- The Railgun is for KM-whoring.
