Aside from being endowed with the usual hauling capabilities of Haulers, the Miasmos possesses an extra cargo bay. That bay is equipped with sealed, temperature-controlled vats, and is meant solely for ferrying all types of interstellar ore: ice, gasses and asteroids. The Miasmos was originally designed as a variant of the Iteron, but eventually evolved to perform an entirely separate role. Tactics

Like other Gallentte specialized haulers such as the  Kryos and the  Epithal, the  Miasmos uses a specialized hold as its main hold instead of a cargohold. This fact, alongside the strong hull hitpoints that Gallente ships already get, means that the Miasmos can fit a decently sized hull buffer tank using Transverse Bulkhead rigs and Reinforced Bulkhead modules, and it will not suffer any negative effects on the size of its specialized Mining Hold because those modules only decrease cargohold size. A Miasmos with only a simple hull tank buffer can achieve an EHP of about 14,000, impressive for a T1 hauler.
