Built to represent the last word in electronic warfare, combat recon ships have onboard facilities designed to maximize the effectiveness of electronic countermeasure modules of all kinds. Filling a role next to their class counterpart, the heavy assault ship, combat recon ships are the state of the art when it comes to anti-support support. They are also devastating adversaries in smaller skirmishes, possessing strong defensive capabilities in addition to their electronic superiority. SHIP BONUSES

Summary
The Lachesis is a T2 version of the Celestis. It has the handicap of split weapons systems, which limits its damage dealing capability. For a ship that's main advantage over its cloaky variant the Arazu is its superior firepower, this is a major disadvantage, which means the Arazu is almost always flown in preference to the Lachesis.
In its own right however the Lachesis is not a bad ship, and features the ability to point an enemy at up to 60k with an overheated point, while using its bonused sensor dampers to reduce its lock range to less than the Lachesis' point range, rendering the enemy impotent while whittling it away with missiles, railguns and drones. The only real problem is that the Arazu can do all of this as well (albeit with much slower whittling) and has the enormous advantage of a covops cloak as well.
The Lachesis does have a niche in gangs as a long range heavy tackler, where if its sensor damping bonus is ignored its extra mid slot can allow it to field a strong shield tank.
