The Vigilant was the first Gallente design the Guardian Angels would steal and make their own, but it wouldn't be the last. Building on the Thorax's natural strengths, it is a deadly vessel both by itself and in fleet tandem. A group of these sluggers is a sight to fear. SHIP BONUSES

Summary
The Vigilant is the Serpentis faction cruiser. It is capable of immense damage dealing thanks to its role bonus and strong tracking, as well as having an incredibly powerful web that can bring an enemy close to a dead stop. Unfortunately, as with the other Serpentis ships, its cost is very high even when compared to other pirate faction ships.

- Vigilant is the most expensive pirate cruiser. Admittedly, the price tag is often justified by its convincing offensive capabilities, it remains an unfavorable ship in Incursions due to the problem with medium blaster range.
- The stasis webifier bonus on Vigilant and its high DPS solidified its role as a frigate killer.
- Vigilant's impressive drone bay can be filled with either light scout drones or logistic drones.
- Lack of shield HP and shield resist is compensated by its small signature radius and decent speed.
- This fit can push out 736 DPS with Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M, but an weapon range of 2.9+15 threw its consistency of applying DPS off the track. The range issue can be compensated through the use of T2 Null ammo with reduced DPS, though the tracking penalty on the Null ammo presents another issue.
- Fitting overall is very similar to that of an Incursion Ashimmu.

- Lack of armor HP and armor Kinetic/Explosive resist is compensated by its very small signature radius and decent speed with the help of an afterburner.
- This fit can push out 736 DPS with Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M, but an weapon range of 2.6+12 greatly hinders its effectiveness. Even with an afterburner, the range issue is only partially solved, as the pilot needs to be constantly burning to ward fast moving Sansha frigates while making sure they're not to far away from the fleet.
- Fitting overall is very similar to that of an Incursion Ashimmu.
