"Be wary of those who offer you aid with a smile and words of encouragement. They are false. Those that give life so that they may live are more reliable and true in their motives. Eternity beckons for the Sabik but travelers on that road must be clothed in the blood of the weak and refreshed by the blood of the powerful and pure. Only give succor to a true fellow traveler, that they may aid you on your journey along that road."

Summary

The Dagon is a Blood Raiders Force Auxiliary. It is bonused for remote armor repair cycle time and energy nosferatu range and drain amount. It requires both Amarr and Minmatar carrier skills to fly.

Skills

Tactics

The Dagon is unlike any Fax. It is designed to be used in the presence of enemy capital ships so that its Capital Nosferatu Modules can steal capacitor from them and fuel its own local and remote repair modules. The Dagon is less effective in the presence of only enemy subcapital ships as Heavy Energy Nosferatus transfer significantly less capacitor and Capital Nosferatus are effectively useless against subcapitals.

Dagons do not see much use in nulsec or lowsec due to the inherent weak tank of FAXs compared to other capital ships and the Dagon's very high cost compared to other FAXs. The Dagon is primarily used in wormhole space where there are significantly fewer threats to FAXs and where the small advantage gained by a faction FAX is very valuable.

Notes

Dagon (or Dagan) was a major deity in ancient Syria and Mesopotamia. He seems to have been associated with prosperity and kingship, and may have been a divine ancestor figure for other gods.
