Following the well-worn policy of taking Caldari ship designs and radically overhauling them, the Mamba is clearly based on the distinctive hull of the Corax-class destroyer. Guristas leader Korako 'The Rabbit' Kosakami has taken the basic concept of the State's missile destroyer and grafted the signature Guristas drone technology to it. The result is a ship that can fire a blizzard of missiles followed up by a small but powerful waves of combat drones.

Summary

As expected from a Guristas destroyer, the Mamba is the bigger cousin of the Worm. Being the next-larger ship class, it has lower speed, more EHP, twice the launchers, thus more missile DPS, but exactly the same drone bonus and drone bandwidth. The larger drone bay allows for keeping more drones in reserve and the cargo bay is big enough for keeping missile ammo, loot, and an MTU.
