The Anhinga is a battlecruiser with unprecedented firepower. Like the legendary ‘snake bird’ it’s named after, the Anhinga allows pilots to strike from the deep, catching their rivals off guard.

The Mountain faction made shocking allegations against the Hyasyoda corporation following the unveiling of the design, claiming to have proof linking Anhinga designers to Guristas pirates operating within the Caldari state.

“This pirate infestation appears to be spread among several corporations, not just Hyasyoda,” claimed an official statement from the Home Guard.

Following a series of high-level meetings behind closed doors, Hyasyoda agreed to withdraw their bid for a Navy contract, although they protested the lack of evidence on behalf of the Mountain faction. To smooth things over, the CEP decided to award a small number of the Anhinga to New Eden’s best pilots as awards for Alliance Tournament XXI.
