Command ships are engineered specifically to wreak havoc on a battlefield of many. Sporting advanced command module interfaces, these vessels are more than capable of turning the tide in large engagements. Command ships represent the ultimate in warfare link efficiency; the boosts they give their comrades in combat make them indispensable assets to any well-rounded fleet.
Developer: CreoDron
As the largest drone developer and manufacturer in space, CreoDron has a vested interest in drone carriers. While sacrificing relatively little in the way of defensive capability, the Eos can chew its way through surprisingly strong opponents - provided, of course, that the pilot uses top-of-the-line CreoDron drones.

Summary
The Eos is the Gallente fleet command ship, designed primarily as a drone boat. It has the full 125mb drone bandwidth required to field a flight of sentry or heavy drones, and a respectable-sized drone bay, though not quite the equal to the Dominix or Ishtar. With its rework into a tankier sentry boat, it may perhaps find a niche outside of PvE applications.
Skills
As the Eos is a drone boat, it is highly recommended that the following skills be trained before a pilot attempts to fly the ship:
- Drones V
- Gallente Drone Specialization IV
- Combat Drone Operation IV
- Scout Drone Operation V
- Drone Interfacing V
- Drone Navigation V
- Drone Sharpshooting V
- Drone Durability IV
- Sentry Drone Interfacing V
- Heavy Drone Operation V
Additionally, as the Eos is a (rather expensive) T2 ship, the pilot should be able to fit a full T2 armor tank. The armor compensations skills listed below are highly recommended but not required:
- Hull Upgrades V
- Mechanics V
- Repair Systems IV (for active armor tanking)
- Armor Rigging IV (for T2 armor rigs)
- EM Armor Compensation IV
- Explosive Armor Compensation IV
- Kinetic Armor Compensation IV
- Thermal Armor Compensation IV
Tactics
No sub-article about Eos roles or piloting tactics. You can write them here.
Notes
In ancient Greek mythology, Eos was goddess of the dawn.

Version 18.07 - Release 2020-07-28.1 - Build: 1777281 - Combat Command Update (Patch Notes)
- [We're] trying to fix up the particularly underused [command ships], especially ones like the Nighthawk and Eos. [...]
- We're going to try and split the two sets of command ships a little more deliberately. [...] The fleet variations are generally going to move to being even more survivable and more long range focused so they actually have a chance at staying on field if they're not a Damnation. [...] The Eos and Claymore are going to get a resist bonus instead of their active bonuses, which is a bit unusual. You know, we usually keep Minmatar and Gallente ships to [armor] rep and shield boosts, rather than armor and shield resists. But for a role that's meant to be a high priority, fleet support role, it's just not viable without that, so we're going to give that bonus to them instead. And then the Eos is making a switch to being more of a sentry platform rather than the sort of mixed heavy drone platform it is right now.
