Summary
The Phobos is the Gallente Heavy Interdictor. It is designed to be heavily armor tanked, and has a large number of low slots and a hull bonus to help this. The main purpose of the Phobos is to carry the Warp Disruption Field Generator module, which produces a warp disruption bubble around the ship.
The Phobos has one less low slot and one more mid compared to the Amarr Devoter, meaning it can field less tank. This makes the Devoter the preferred tackler for capitals (though the Phobos can also perform this role adequately), however the Phobos is often used in low sec gate camps to tackle ships that are equipped with warp core stabilisers due to its extra mid allowing it to carry an extra sensor booster.

- With all skills at V and before fleet boosts, this ship has 81.7 K EHP, flies at 1265 m/s with MWD on (1773 m/s with MWD overheated, 248 m/s with MWD off) and align in 11.8 s (9.2 s with MWD off)
- Damage is 178 dps at 4.8 + 10 km with Null
- The capacitor will last for 3 min 10 s with all modules on. With the MWD off, the capacitor is stable.

- Midslots can be refitted as needed (ECCM chosen as default, due to hictors being a high priority ECM target), examples of other midslot configurations might be remote sensor boosters, projected eccm, web(s) etc.
- The fit is tight on CPU. Some more faction in the lows helps alleviate the issue, and fitting nos's in place of the autocannons then becomes an option.
- Similar to above, if cloaking is not required in your fleet comp, the cpu freed up by removing it allows for the fitting of 3 nos's (or 4, if you don't need a cyno) in place of the cloak/autocannons(this is desirable to reduce the presure on your cap charges).
- The deadspace explosive plating is very cheap (less than 1 million isk, at the time of writing)
- Bring enough cyno fuel/whoring ammo and fill the rest of your cargo with (navy) cap charges
- All V's and Max boosts with no implants assumed: 1434m/s cold (357 with bubble up), 160,955 EHP, resist profile: 82.7/88.7/94.4/76.7, sensor strength 83.8 cold
