Worried that their hot-shot pilots would burn brightly in their eagerness to engage the enemy, the Federation Navy created a ship that encourages caution over foolhardiness. A hardier version of its counterpart, the Myrmidon is a ship designed to persist in battle. Its numerous medium and high slots allow it to slowly bulldoze its way through the opposition, while its massive drone space ensures that no enemy is left unscathed. SHIP BONUSES

Summary
The Myrmidon is a versatile battlecruiser that performs well in most roles. The myrmidon sports a balanced slot layout that can support a shield or armor tank and do quite well with either. It has more drone bandwidth and a larger drone bay when compared to its cruiser cousin the Vexor. As a drone boat the Myrmidon has excellent flexibility for long roams, with the ability to carry a mixed heavy and medium flight, a light flight, and an additional flight of light repair or EWAR drones. The Myrmidon has no bonus to any weapon system so can mount any weaponry of any size with equal proficiency, or use nosferatu or neutraliser arrays without greatly reducing its damage.

- The shield regenerates 315 point per s and the Capacitor is stable.
- Damage depends on drone and can reach 632 dps at 30 + 12 km with Ogre II drones and EMP ammo.

- As fitted, with all skills at V and before boosts, this ship has 52.8 K EHP, flies at 367 m/s (464 overheated) and align in 13.8 s with AB on (10.5 s off). The capacitor will last 4 min 34.
- Damage varies between 360 and 705 dps and is mostly dependent on drones. Excellent drones skills are required to make this ship work,
- Guns are not bonused and you should pick whatever you feel more comfortable with. The Focused Medium Pulse Lasers have been chosen because of their relatively high tracking and good damage at the 12 km scram range.

EFT reports that the capacitor will last 5 min 20, but the ship is essentially cap stable as the modules will never work all at the same time.
- Damage varies between 250 and 600 dps and depends on drones. Excellent drones skills are required to make this ship work.
- Guns are not bonused and you should pick whatever you feel more comfortable with. The Heavy Electron Blaster was chosen because of its excellent tracking and good dps at close range.
