Like all Triglavian combat ships, the Vedmak uses the unique Entropic Disintegrator weapon, a single turret with high damage and tracking, whose damage increases the longer it remains focused on a single target. Maximum damage is reached after 30 shots, or about two minutes. However, if the Disintegrator stops firing for any reason (manual deactivation, target lock broken, capacitor depletion, target out of range), the damage bonus is reset. Fortunately, due to its size, the Leshak is the most resistant of all Triglavian ships to having its Disintegrator deactivated.

A very heavy and well-armed warship that is clearly the Collective's frontline battleship, the Leshak has proven adaptable to capsuleer technology along with the other Triglavian ship designs recovered from Abyssal Deadspace.

The Leshak is capable of mounting Supratidal Entropic Disintegrators and an array of support weapons such as energy neutralizers and pulse weapons. The ship also makes use of drones and has a long-range remote repair capability.

Leshak Subclade of Veles Clade scattered the adaptation schema of reverse-time reclaimed adapation schema of 729 tactical troika classification vessel into the cladeflow without proving after Convocation of Triglav Outside the Struggle. Convocations of the Commune Troika have now-time pressure for dispersal to strategic troika. – partial translation of data included in recovered design schematics of the Leshak

Summary

The Leshak is the Triglavian Collective's battleship. From its introduction in 2018 through the Marauder improvements in 2021, the Leshak was the highest damage battleship in New Eden, while also featuring very thick armor, four utility High slots, Blaster-grade Tracking out to Mega Pulse Laser ranges, and a mass low enough to make it surprisingly fast but also bad at accelerating to that speed.

In the time since the 2021 Industry overhaul and Marauder changes, the Leshak has fallen in popularity, due to the new supremacy of Marauders as the uncontested highest-damage battleships, and the surge in hull prices. Prior to these changes however, the Leshak was one of the kings of Wormhole Space fighting (with its low mass and high armor, damage, and utilities), and one of the kings of high-end PVE (Triglavian Invasion, Sansha Incursions, high-class Wormhole sites,).

Like all Triglavian combat ships, the Leshak uses the unique Entropic Disintegrator weapon, a single turret with high damage and tracking, whose damage increases the longer it remains focused on a single target.

Skills

Further information about additional or recommended skills to pilot Maelstrom for a specific or it's common role(s) can be written here.

Tactics

Spider-tanking with other Triglavian ships or logi can be effective, and bonuses to energy neutralizers and smartbombs make them attractive uses of the ship's utility highs.

Due to the damage-ramping mechanic of Entropic Disintegrators, it is advisable to focus fire on a single target without stopping. Damage halts and the damage ramp resets if a target leaves optimal range, so range control is vital in any engagement.

Notes

Like all Tech 1 Triglavian subcapital ships, the Clade that designed the Leshak, Veles, has their name engraved atop the ship in Triglavian font (VELES).
