For PvE, the Nidhoggur usually has a full rack of racial fighters for DPS and  should always stay aligned to either a safe spot, POS, or Upwell structure, so that it can warp out when potential threats appear in Local chat or in a friendly intel channel.
For PvP, the Nidhoggur does well as a hot drop carrier for fast hit-and-run operations. High damage and decent fighter speeds allow it to perform well in this type of engagement. Generally, though, the [[Thanatos]] is preferred for most carrier deployments outside of huge capital fights, because it has more midslots for damage application and fighter velocity, allowing it to match the the Nidhoggur: the Nidhoggur needs at least one Drone Navigation Computer, ideally two, to really put that fighter velocity bonus to good use.
