The Erebus is popular due to its extreme long range with 1000mm railguns and its middle-of-the-road DPS. However, the Erebus is also by far the squishiest titan (see battle of M2-XFE), more so than the Ragnarok for the simple reason that it is an armor titan and not a shield titan. Most Erebus pilots will dual tank their ship, using its generous 6 mid slots to fit a token shield tank to increase the Erebus' abysmal EHP.
