After the runaway success of the Venture mining frigate, ORE spun their growing frontier exploration and exploitation division, Outer Ring Prospecting, into a new subsidiary. The corporation’s first project was the development of a new line of Expedition frigates, designed to meet the needs of the riskiest and most lucrative harvesting operations. SHIP BONUSES

- Cloaking IV
- Hull Upgrades IV
- Shield Upgrades IV
- Evasive Maneuvering IV
- Navigation IV
Tactics
Due to the lack of drones or built-in warp core stabilizers of the Venture, and thanks to its enlarged cargo hold, the Prospect is best used with a mobile depot to switch between a mining fit, focused on yield and a travel fit able to move about without issues in hostile areas, as well as deal with any rats that pop up.
Being the cheapest ship which can fit a Covert Cynosural Field Generator, this ship is most commonly used in K-Space for BLOPS drops, cynoing in a fleet of combat-capable cloaky ships such as stealth bombers or T3C's through a black ops battleship's covert jump bridge.
Most would see the Prospect as a Gas Harvester or Ninja Miner but the Prospect can also be used as a Blockade Runner. Its frigate classed hull (agility and speed) in combination with 10000 m3 ore storage (no need for cargoexpanders) makes it a superior choice when it comes to haul compressed ore.
