| The Atron is the Gallente fast frigate and is the first frigate Gallente pilots will get after the [[Velator]]. The Atron has good speed and a balanced 2/2/2 slot layout that leaves it a bit lacking in firepower but with decent utility for its class. With its 2 mid slots the Atron is still not a very good PvP tackler despite its speed, and is also quite fragile. Essentially the Atron is a cheap ship and you get what you pay for. With its significantly larger cargo hold, however, it serves well as an alternative to a shuttle. Gallente pilots should be looking to upgrade to an [[Incursus]] when they can afford one.</I>
